During our most recent visits to Omaha, we set out as usual to research and visit any potential stand out craft cocktail bars. My searches led us to a few places including The Berry & Rye. Our conclusion? The Berry & Rye was the most unique and exceptional craft cocktail bar we visited. It had a true unique and independent vibe, The decor was posh, swank and vibrantly eclectic and classy, the mixologist was super cool and chill, welcoming and hospitable, and talented and independently innovative. We enjoyed our craft cocktails; and then I enjoyed a pour of my favorite Italian digestíf (Braulio) afterwards.

I’m a flight attendant and check out a lot of places when traveling. Sammy was our server/bartender and she is INCREDIBLE! Not only is she very knowledgeable but she is so fun and cool. This is absolutely a spot to check out and ask Dut Sammy!

My stay in Omaha was amplified when I stopped into The Berry & Rye. I was lucky Tim was behind the bar because his knowledge and friendly/welcoming nature elevated my experience to another level! I’d strongly recommend The Berry & Rye for anyone looking for incredible drinks and memorable experiences!

May 3rd, 2025 So happy we chose here for our after dinner spot for the night. What a beautiful lounge with comfortable seating, fabulous cocktails (ordered the Lavender Blue & Yukon Gold), good music. Very classy yet not stuffy, it’s very enjoyable to just hangout here all night. I recommend you’ll thank me 🥰

It feels like a place where time slows down just enough for you to appreciate the details. ​And the details are where this place truly shines, specifically behind the bar. ​The cocktail menu is fantastic—experimental, seasonal, and rooted in classics—but the real magic happens when you hand the reins over to Tim and Luke. These two are not just bartenders; they are true mixologists in every sense of the word. ​Watching them work is a show in itself. They possess an encyclopedic knowledge of spirits, bitters, and flavor profiles that is honestly intimidating until you realize how approachable they make it. I watched Luke effortlessly explain the nuance of a specific whiskey to a customer, breaking down the mash bill in a way that was fascinating rather than pretentious. Meanwhile, Tim was down the bar carving ice by hand, prepping a drink that looked less like a cocktail and more like a work of art. ​I asked for something "spirit-forward but with a summer twist," and what they delivered was absolute alchemy. They didn't just pour a drink; they built it. House-made syrups, perfectly balanced acids, and a garnish that tied the aromatics together perfectly. Very friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, but there is no food here. If you just want to switch off, relax, and hang out, this is a perfect option. It’s also open until 2 AM, which is pretty rare for Omaha. Overall, I definitely recommend it.☺️🙌

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's one of my favorite bars to go to probably ever. I love the atmosphere . I love the vibe. Craft cocktail drinks are always amazing. I haven't found one yet that wasn't delicious. Google Maps doesn't do enough to bring this one to the surface. It's hard to find. But find it it's well worth it

This bar has got to be one of the best experiences I have had in the world. Memorable in every way. The staff are top! The bartender actually came to our table to explain the techniques and tastes of Absinthe in the bar. Knowledgable and loves what he does. He went above and beyond to give us an experience that was a great memory, and meant a lot. The bar staff are also friendly and know their work well. Drinks are just perfect, one of the top tastes of the spirit drinks I have ever had. They also have a rotating menu of drinks to complement their walls of exotic drinks and spirits from all over the world. Classy and sophisticated in every way. A great space for a drink and also, thanks to the staff for their professionalism and passion for a good classy experience!
